# Connecting a group Telegram bot
# Symptoms

Is it possible to add a Telegram bot to work in groups?

# Solution

Yes. To do this, you need:

1.  [Create a Telegram bot](https://support.swarmica.ru/article/ru/406-podklyuchenie-telegram-bota.html) with the ability to add it to a group.  
2.  Go to **Settings - Channels - Telegram**, create a new channel and add this bot there
3.  In the channel settings, you need to choose the mode of operation for the bot

**All messages** - the bot will respond to any message in Telegram and create a new ticket or add a response to an existing one.

**Only when mentioned** - the bot will respond only when directly mentioned via @, and create a new ticket or add a response to an existing one.

When adding a bot to a group, we recommend also selecting the 'Always one ticket' mode for more seamless communication.
