# Symptoms

When setting up a channel in the web widget and setting the authorization type to anonymous, an error occurs.

# Solution

1.  You need to add 'anonymous' to the *AUTH\_PROVIDERS* variable in the `/root/swarmica/.env` file, separated by a comma.
2.  Restart Swarmica.

```

# Cause

The .env AUTH\_PROVIDERS variable does not have the 'anonymous' value for security reasons. The ability to initialize chats anonymously increases the likelihood of a DDOS attack through multiple initializations of empty chats.
