# Managing Content Quality Criteria
[Content quality checking](https://support.swarmica.com/article/ru/214-ru.html) is one of the [stages of working with articles](https://support.swarmica.com/article/ru/203-etapy-raboty-so-statyami.html) and is carried out according to certain criteria. You can change and add content quality criteria in the Settings - Content Quality Criteria section.

> **Changing the set of criteria in the Content Quality Control and Link Precision sections is highly not recommended, as they are defined by KCS methodology, and their implementation affects the correct implementation of the methodology. However, you can add criteria based on the specifics of the supported products and processes in your company.**

Content quality criteria are also called AQI (Article Quality Index) criteria.

Criteria are divided into categories. This is what the criteria and categories look like during an article review by the verifier:

The section consists of two tabs: AQI Criteria and AQI Categories.

**Weight** is the index of the criterion's significance. The content quality index in percent is calculated from the weight of each criterion. By default, all existing criteria have a weight of 1. If one of the criteria has a higher weight, its fulfillment/non-fulfillment will have a greater impact on the quality index than fulfilling/not fulfilling criteria with a lower weight.

You will also need to specify a category. If the category you need is not in the list, you can add it in the Settings - Content Quality Criteria section, on the AQI Categories tab.

To **edit** a criterion, click ![](https://support.swarmica.com/attachments/X/G/XGaa3wC1z13dD5wz_a/image.png) to its right in the Edit column.

To **delete** a criterion, click ![](https://support.swarmica.com/attachments/k/U/kUVUPAE7_toVn8uU_a/image.png) to its right in the Delete column.

# AQI Categories

The list of criteria categories for the content quality index is located in the Settings - Content Quality Criteria section, on the AQI Categories tab.
