#123: Product or Service Catalog Configuration
Отредактирована: сегодняDepending on the context of the ticketing system being used, the support object can be either a specific software product (Product) or any services and utilities. To select a specific support object, the user needs to configure the list of supported Products or another name for it is the Service Catalog.
In Swarmica, this entity is called a Product and is available for configuration in Settings -> Product Management.
To create a new product:
- Go to Settings -> Product Management.
- Enter the Product name in both locales.
- Click Add.
By default, a product is created without any additional attributes.
Additional Product Attributes
Additional attributes can be used optionally depending on your products and processes. If you decide to use an attribute, keep in mind that they are bound and can be different for each product.
- Version - numeric and text format description. The checkbox next to the version enables/disables its display for the client on the ticket creation form. For example, outdated versions can be disabled so that they do not confuse customers and/or inflate the list.
- Edition (Layout) - can be used for different editions or components of the product.
- Platform - usually the operating system, but can also be used in a broader sense. Platforms are created separately on the Platforms tab and can then be enabled/disabled with checkboxes for each product.
