Creating custom fields
In Swarmica, you can create additional attributes (fields) of various types that can be associated with the following entities:
- Ticket
- Article
- User
- Company
- Key
And have different visibility scopes:
- Employees — the field will be available for editing and viewing only to the company's employees.
- Customers (view) — the field will also be available to clients for reading only in their Personal Account.
- Customers (edit) — clients will also be able to modify and fill in this field on the ticket creation form in their Personal Account.
To create or modify such a field:
- Go to Settings -> Custom Fields and click the Create button.

- In the list that appears, select the type of field you want to create.
- Set the field name for chosen locales.
- Select the visibility scope.
- Applicable to: Select which entity you want to add this field to. E.g. the most popular choice is Ticket
- Default values and selection options are filled in depending on the field type.
- Click Save to create and start using the field for the specified entity.
Once custom filed is created the corresponding box will appear in chosen entity. E.g. for tickets(chats) it will appear in the right-bottom side:
