#1765: Update v6.0.x
Отредактирована: сегодняUpdate v6.0.x
IMPORTANT! Before updating to v6.0.x, you must have a Swarmica version not lower than v5.12.x
Updates must be performed sequentially: if the Swarmica version is lower than v5.12.x, for example, v5.3.x, then you must first update to v5.4.x, then to v5.5.x, and so on.
Preparation
To update, check that the configuration file .env has the following version:
~# grep VERSION .env
SW_FRONTEND_VERSION=v6.0.3
SW_BACKEND_VERSION=v6.0.3
SW_HELPCENTER_VERSION=v6.0.3
Update
There will be a service interruption for several minutes; it is recommended to perform the update during hours when system usage is minimal
Perform the update with a system restart:
docker compose pull
docker compose down
docker compose up -d
After update
After all containers have started and the service becomes available through the web interface, perform post-upgrade steps:
- Run the post_start command to update static files, search indexes, and perform other necessary procedures:
docker exec --env-file .env -it swarmica-django-1 python manage.py post_start
- Run the cleanup of unused data:
docker system prune -a
IMPORTANT! Make sure that all containers have started successfully before running this command
