#568: Setting up outgoing mail via SMTP Relay

Отредактирована: сегодня

In this article, we will explain how to set up SMTP relay in Swarmica for sending outgoing mail from all email channels.

SMTP relay settings

To make SMTP relay settings in the system, go to the Settings section and then to the SMTP relay block.

A page with settings will open. Below, we show an example of filled settings.

Enter the following data from top to bottom:

  1. Your server address.
  2. The port for your server's outgoing mail.
  3. The username through which outgoing mail will pass.
  4. User password.
  5. Encryption: none, SSL, or TLS.
  6. Activate the Enabled switch if all settings have been entered and the server is ready for operation.
  7. Activate the Use system SMTP server setting in your email channels (Settings - Channels - Email).

Checking SMTP relay

After completing all the steps, click on the check button to verify the correctness of the settings.

If the settings are correct, a green notification will appear below the check button.

If the settings are incorrect, the notification will be red.

Additionally, you can use the extra check option to the right of the settings fields—sending a test email.

After filling in the data and clicking the send button, a notification about successful or unsuccessful sending will also appear in this block.
